He was a well-developed, heavy-boned dog and was imported into Switzerland after the war, where he was in great demand as a stud dog and so strongly influenced the Groenendaels of that period. His descendants, not always the smallest in size, were all of the finest temperament. Together with the brood bitch Karloka du Mont Sara, they laid the breeding foundation of the Roschenacker kennel.
