Having already created a quality Malinois line before 1914 (a line, which later bore Sahrah de la Dendre, one of the foundation bitches of Jolimont), this kennel (Pimprenelles) continuted after World War I with the Malinois type from Enclus.
Starting off then with subjects from this kennel, it endeavored to continue the line in an equal purity of type, but it made sure of it by using at each generation the services of excellent studs from outside this line.
If results are the true judges of merit, then the Pimprenelles breeding program was certainly valuable, since the kennel was soon crowned with success.
