BBA p68 During the time that Rudy was importing dogs from Europe, he made efforts to strengthen communications between the breeders here and in Europe. He wrote Mme Aubrey Dusoulier offering a trophy for their next specialty in the name of the Belgian Sheepdog Club of America, of which he was three times president. In return, he received a beautiful plaque, executed by Jacques Fath, for the American specialty.
