"In the early 1940's a pair of Salukis were imported from England, Mazuri Adonis and Nablous Mish Mish, and their puppies were probably the first Canadian-bred Salukis. In 1945 a beautiful cream bitch from this litter, Mazuri el Gharb was bought by Audrey Hollis, now Mrs. Audrey Laurie Benbow, of the well-known Sirhan Kennel."
