Exported to South Africa to become the foundation dog for Lumier Kennels, Bhastria is the back of 90% of the Salukis in South Africa. Some kennel names using this lineage in South Africa were Namar and Roaringwater and in the 2000's, Fleetwind. Bhastrika was the first top-winning Saluki in South Africa and won 30 CCs and a Best in Show. Brashika has grandchilden in Rodesia.
