Although it produced Groenendael of little interest to the history of the breed for many years it was truly born into the cynophile in 1949 with the acquisition, at weaning, of X'Woendale de l'Infernal imported from Belgium, who became the foundation bitch of a kennel of quality.
A large bitch typical, and solidly built, she happily aligned the elegance and distinction necessary for a show subject with the construction of a brood bitch. Beside the many provincial CACIB's, she also won the RCACIB at Paris in 1950 and the CAC at the breed special, in the autumn of the same year. Sadly maternity duties coarsened and very quickly deformed her; so, it was her descendants who became interesting. BBA p80
She served as the base of the French kennel des Ardennes du Coitron, and who was a big winner of numerous CAC - CACIB and produced many puppies. The BS by Andrews & Cloutt
