Bred to Betsy, a daughter of Milsart owned by Mr Van Tricht, Bibi sired Jeck LOSH 8593 on 27 June 1909. Jeck who entered Mr Amaury's Cotillage kennel in Liege, was considered the ideal of his day, with a good harmony of charcoaled fawn color, impeccable topline, robust and well-coated, with an intelligent eye. His show career was long and distinguished, with 17 certificates of championship and 34 first prizes, in France, Belgium, and Holland. He was considered the best Tervueren produced before the First World War. Hist of Terv p6
1911-1914 he took all of the CAC's. He was a typical subject well-built, with an ideal coat-a point considered to be very important. The coat was a deep fawn, slightly flaming in color, comparable to bread, lightly touched by fire and coming quite golden out of an oven, extending along the medium line of the body, and over the tail. At these 'fire points' the individual hair shafts, which were light at birth, became copper in the middle sections and ended with a slight touch of about one or two centimeters of black. He combined all the prayers of the amateures, constituted a repayment for their work. Unfortunately...the war was to annihilate all that in the midst of so many other things. BBA p46
Milsart is credited with founding the 'old Terv line'. In Tervuren history only four dogs can be found which perpetuate this 'old Terv line'. They are the half-brothers and sisters, Unica and Unique and Urvinioul and Urvinior. Through these four, almost every Tervuren can trace its ancestry back to Milsart.
The degree of inbreeding on Milsart is best exemplified by Jeck LOSH 8593. Like most other fawns registered before 1921, Jeck was extremely inbred on Milsart. BBA pxiii
