1936 Becomes the first rottweiler in England.WWII destroys all traces of the pre-war imports, however, and the breed will have to start over following the war.

The first recorded Rottweiler in the UK was in 1936 – Diana v.d. Amalienburg ScHI imported by Mrs Thelma Grey. This bitch was then sold to the owner of the Crowsteps affix (Mrs Simmons).
