1st import to win a Junior Warrant
Kyogi became the first import to gain a Junior Warrant, quite a feat as one has to adjust these dogs after thier six months' stint in quarantine. (Jacky MacAndie) 1995 YB p212
Kyogi was imported from Belgium. Unfortunately, he did not do well in quarantine due to lack of socialisation. If he knew you, he loved you but was not very good with strangers. Consequently we did not show him very much. However, he was the first import to win a Junior Warrant. Kyogi eventually died as a result of organ failure. (Ebontide)
The two brothers Dandy and Djoe du Domaine des Noirs, these were two very beautiful males of excellent type and construction with true Belgian expression. They also had huge coats with pronounced ruffs, something we rarely see these days. Seeing these two dogs led us to their breeders, Serge and Julie Mousty who have since become good friends and resulted in us importing the Groenendael male Kyogi du Domaine des Noirs at Ebontide who is behind all our breeding. (Janice & Roger Clifford, Ebontide) 1997 YB p277
