All the early Belgian long hair other-than-black imports to Switzerland came from established bloodlines, and gave some shining examples of their worth. In the list of CAC winners from the large shows in the last 10 years, one does not find many of the valuable subjects, which these dogs could have created. Sandi de la Cite des Gilles, when bred to Urvinioul, produced one of the first Swiss winners, Blitz von Hummelwald LOS 29375 and when bred to Xyste de la Brigade, produced another winner, Ergo von Hummelwald.
