Colette ex Folette Female Belgian Tervuren  11/22/1921 (deceased) Color: fawn Owner: J Dessart Breeder: Cornet LOSH 20495 Sire: Polo (de la Hestre) Dam: Lionne (J Cornet) Minox (Minox du Camp) LOSH 15141 was born on 6 May 1921, from 5+ generations of known Malinois ancestry. He was a fawn with black masking and a blackened collarette. That same year, on 22 November, Colette ex Folette was born, with four generations of known Malinois origins behind her. Tervueren had been born in Malinois litters for years prior to this, but their lines had not continued. The Tervueren from Malinois had better masking, longer fixed in the Malinois lines than in the Tervueren lines of that time. Minox and Colette ex Folette were bred together, producing a litter in 1924 that forever altered Tervueren and Groenendael history and genealogies. The breeder was Mr J Dessart of Binche. Hist of the Terv p17 Colette was first registered with LOB as Folette, and then re-registered with LOSH as Colette.
