Bellonie and Fascotte were the foundation bitches of Mont Sara kennel. Their maternal lines are very close to each other. Later on, the offspring of these two were bred together. This serious inbreeding facilitated the establishment of a certain "Mont Sara type" which was very egoistic, and experienced an incontestable vogue.
It was said of Mont Sara kennel, "It never took a holiday". The kennel showed considerable groups of 20 to 25 dogs, sometimes more in the shows where often no one else dared to outrage the Mont Sara competition. This also made its victories easier. BBA p37
