In 1948 Infernal needed to acquire foreign blood to breed to Tan's descendants. An agreement was made which proved to be beneficial to all: in exchange for breeding one of its bitches to Tan, the Chemin des Dames kennel accomplished a breeding especially conceived for the purpose of producing a future Belgian stud for the Infernal kennel. This dog had to be rather large in size, because Belgium had acquired a taste for larger dogs, and clearly gave them preference during this time period.
The choice went to the very young Victoire and the young dog choosen for her was Venot. BBA p41&44
The union produced a small litter of 2-1. Wog was a very sturdy and strong male who arrived at the Infernal kennel at two and a half months of age, and he was raised there becoming a first class stud. He carried away a number of CAC and CACIB's in Belgium and in the north of France in the 1950-1951 shows, and I believe was never defeated.
He was at this time a very large and sturdy dog of 66 centimeters, which was at the extreme limit of size. Because of his demeanor as well as his structure, he appeared to be a real force of nature. He was not only harmonious and distinguished in his physical strength, but well-balanced in his temperament as well. BBA p44
