Rafer has beautiful movement with tremendous drive and reach - very strong, level back - short, tight cat feet - sound, outgoing, highly spirited temperament - exceptional working ability. Rafer has the body structure, temperament and intelligence of the true working Belgian. Rafer was not used at stud until rather late in life, but at this point he has sired 6 Champions, all with obedience titles, has 3 who are almost finished and many others with points who are just starting to be shown.

Rafer, very much like his sire, Char, was a highly spirited Belgian with a great deal of drive, energy and courage. He loved to work and had quite a sense of humor, so everything we did together was great fun. He perhaps would not have been the right Belgian for the average person, but he was perfect for me. Rafer was my devoted friend and companion for 17 years. He is forever in my mind and heart.
