Imported by Etoile Blanche kennel after weaning in 1937. He was one of the best of the lot and rendered most of the services to the kennel.
He can not be suspected of bringing any foreign blood to the variety. Not only does his phenotype show this, but the pheotype of his descendants, as well as their genotype prove this.
He was mediumly well balanced. His expressive head was well proportioned with small ears. His construction was very correct, with excellent angulation, which gave him a very good gait. His coat was excellently textured, but lacked abundance and sumptousness. This fault, when combined with a certain lack of pep, caused him to be judged below the true worth of his type and construction, especially in the large competitions. He did win many provincial CAC's. BBA p74
