May 2006: UVAR is the FIRST dog of ANY breed to earn an HX in AKC in ALL the courses and on ALL the stock. Uvar is the son of Nyjel and Korvar. As a puppy his resemblance to his father was scary. He has, of course, developed into his own dog, but he has inherited excellent qualities from both parents. He is my second homebred herding champion. He is now also the first male Belgian Sheepdog with a Dual Championship and the first male Belgian Sheepdog with 4 Championships. He is the first dog ever in AKC to have earned qualifying legs on ALL the courses and stock offered in herding.

Uvar died almost 2 years ago. He lives on in his kids and his grandkids. He is the only Belgian Sheepdog I know of that was a DC and the sire of not one, but two DCs (Bertilak Fides Kuymal and Krisnas Hekate Kuymal) I'm hoping to make the AKC trial debut this winter/spring with his grandkids. While he lived, he never got the recognition he deserved.
