"Morse" (Xelbi Foreign Agent) and "Lace" have yet to make an appearance! Many thanks to Marion and "Enya" (Ch Tanje Starlight Silhouette of Xelbi) for giving us the opportunity to start again!
The "Tanje's" will be back! - watch this space!!!...
(Janet and Jenny Biddlecombe, Tanje) 1995 YB p115
Janet Biddlecombe's Xelbi Distinctly Dutch also made a good start to her career - achieving many good placings in her puppy classes. (Marion McIlherene, Xelbi) 1996 YB p93
"Lace" made a very promising start to her show career never being out of the cards and winning Best Groenendael Bitch at SWKA under Paul England at the tender age of 9 months. She's a delight to show and a devil to live with!
Thanks??? Marion - we can't remember what a quiet life was!
(Janet & Jenny Biddlecombe, Tanje) 1996 YB p96 & p99
1996 was also a good year for the youngsters, especially "Lace" - Xelbi Distinctly Dutch who became the "Post Graduate Queen" - and ended the year by winning Limit at LKA. Her older brother "Morse" - Xelbi Foreign Agent attended a few selected shows and also won his way into Limit. Many thanks to Linda for her faith in him! (Janet & Jenny Biddlecombe, Tanje) 1997 YB p94 & p97
"Enya" to date has produced two litters for me, and I have kept "Meg" - Xelbi Dutch Debutante from the second litter. She is by Ch Gydo v't Belgisch Schoon at Ebontide. She and her litter sister owned by Janet Biddlecombe, have given us some fun over the last 18 months. (Marion McIlherene, Xelbi) 1997 YB p292-293
"Lace" bounced back from maternal duties to take the RCC at LKA!
(Janet & Jenny Biddlecombe, Tanje) 1999 YB p228
When Marion decided to repeat this mating we were at last able to obtain a bitch enabling us to continue our line - which is when "Lace" came into our lives. "Lace" has such a calm gentle nature which actually goes against her in the show ring where she is just too laid back! However, she still accumulated 1 CC and 3 Reserve CC's (all gained when all varieties of BSD were shown together) and was very successful when shown in Veteran classes until she had a stroke in October 2007. However, she made a good recovery and continues to enjoy her life. (Tanje)
