After studying the Burnez article on coat color in the Berger Belge, one realizes that Demon de L Enfer was a carrier of the grey 'ch' gene, which he transmitted to both Feda and to Creole. Feda, although she appeared black, carried the gene. Demon through Feda, helped to transmit the 'ch' gene to Filoza. BBA p22
