In 1978 a dog was imported to Great Britain from the kennels of M Dambrain, his name Ben du Maugre. The BS by Andrews & Cloutt
Liz and Jane had gone off again in search of excellence. They found it in the form of Ben du Maugre. Being 10 months old when he was imported, on his release from quarantine, he quickly found favour with visiting bitches. He was a complete crossout, but he had the predominating 'Raky de Ventadour' in the third generation, so tied in well with the original import lines.
