The father of Belgian ringsport Edmond Moucheron, who also bred working Groenendaels under the kennel name "Chenil Dax", Dax being the name of his most famous dog.

Dax was one of the first to earn a working championship as the SRSH just began offering it to Belgians in 1906. Prior to that they could only earn a working championship in herding. After that - working trials, which is where Dax earned his Championship.
The female Groenendael Elza of Mr. Stern of Brussels, has had a litter of 4-3 by Ch. Dax (6147) on July 10th (1903), and Elza is from Rabat-Joie, who is from Marquis x Jette [no mention of her dam].
