Echo du Chateau Royal
breeder lived at rue de la Croix-Blanche, 137,|
Tourcoing, Nord, France
Located in the suburbs of Lilloise, Croise Laroche produced few litters, but between 1932 and 1938 it successfully created a bloodline, somewhat different than those used by breeders during this time.
In 1932 it raised a male, Echo du Chateau Royal, which it guided to French Championship.
The kennel production essentially consisted of the offspring of Echo and Disa de Soignies, and the offspring of Echo and Disa's daughter, Houpette du Croise Laroche, who was kept by the kennel.
Echo and Disa both had excellent type, with strong well made legs, and excellent coats. But both lacked a little elegance.
All of these subjects were perfectly trained since the owner of the kennel was president of the training section of the St Hubert Club in the north.
For the most part, the war terminated this kennel that knew how to align the qualities of type with temperament. It did not continue its activity after peace returned and kept only one female as a guard dog and as a companion. BBA p73
