Special thanks to the Judges, friends and his admirers.
1989 Crufts ad p32
James has been absent from the show ring during the last twelve months, his last outing being at the Working Breeds Association of Scotland 1990, where he won the Dog CC.
(Bergerac) 1992 YB p82
Sire of 5 Champions plus numerous CC & Reserve CC winners
Not only is James a lovely dog to live with but is passing on his many qualities and superb temperament to his offspring.
Need we say more?

To mention just 3 BSDs that I have had high regard for is very difficult as there have been so many. As a show dog I must mention Ch Vallivue Bon Chance who, as everyone knows, has exceeded all that any other Belgian has achieved. I would like to mention stud dogs that have made their mark both in the showring and as producers. My first choice would be Fr Ch Sam de la Douce Plaine. A wonderful show dog, a fabulous producer, and most important, a superb temperament. His name appears in the pedigrees of so many Champions worldwide. Ch Bandol de la Pouroffe at Snowbourn was a great show dog, with a record unequalled as a producer in this country. My joint third choice would have to be my own Ch Norrevang Bacchus. A great ambassador for the grey colour, the sweetest of temperaments, a producer of several top winners, but hates the show ring and his son Ch Bergerac Loves Kills a beautiful show dog with 5 Champion daughters.

James recently became a Dad to a litter born in the USA, the dam being Bylochka de Faire L'Affaire, owned and bred by Debra-Kay Johnson-Dawe. We wish these American babes well.
To us, James IS the DREAM MAKER.
(Cathy and Ken Croad, Bergerac) 1994 YB p152
When the body that lived at your single will
When the whimper of welcome is stilled (how still)
When the spirit that answered your every mood
Is gone - wherever it goes - for good
You will discover how much you care.
And will give your heart to a dog to tear. (Rudyard Kipling)
No more walks, no more cuddles, no more sloppy kisses
We cannot say goodbye only goodnight
