Furax du Clos Saint Clair

Male Belgian Tervuren  7/10/1956 (deceased)
Color: fawn
Owner: Renee Demillier
Breeder: Gilbert Fontaine
LOF 2327
Sire: Willy de la Garde Noire CACIB
Dam: Belle du Clos Saint Clair

He had an unfortunate accident, but became the stud of Hauts de Bievre kennel and gave this kennel its best products. BBA p95

Furax was a typical dog of good size, of an overall harmonious appearance, strong while also remaining distinguished, endowed with an excellent coat which made for shining show debuts. Sadly a stupid accident left its after-affects on his rear carriage, which prematurely interrupted the show career of this promising young dog. These 3 or 4 shows, however, gave his owner a taste for the dog fancy. Not all was lost since he in the absence of a normal good show career, became a stud whose offspring affirmed his worth.
