Ben is what is called a very well balanced Belgian. He is short bodied, has excellent bone, tight feet and is a beautiful effortless mover. Ben has an exceptional earset small ears with a very gentle yet proud expression. An added plus is his correct scissor bite and full dentition. Ben carries a straight abundant coat. The nicest thing about our Ben is his superb outgoing temperament. BSD Hndbk VolI p314

Inchallah congratulates the editors of The Belgian Sheepdog Handbook for the effort they put forth in making the history of the Belgians available to all Belgian breeders and fanciers. We thank you!
Since 1976 Ben has gone on to become #3 Belgian in the country. Quite a feat for just turning three. Not only is Ben a winning dog but he is also proving himself in his offspring. Quality not quantity is our byword! We have a small progressive breeding program and are striving for the ultimate. (Robert & Heike Wehrle, Inchallah)
BSD Hndbk VolI p382-383

Ben became the top winning Belgian and has produced group placing offspring. BSD Hndbk VolII p274

Since 1981, Ben has gone on to become the #1 Belgian in the country, the only living Belgian Sheepdog who has been awarded two National Specialty wins plus two Best in Shows. Not only is Ben a winning dog but he is also proving himself in his group placing offspring. Quality not quantity is our byword! We have a small progressive breeding program and are striving for the ultimate. (Robert and Heike Wehrle, Inchalla)
BSD Hndbk VolII p455

I am grateful to have been privileged to share Ben's success to become Top Winning Belgian in AKC history, as well as being a Top Producer of BIS offspring. Ben, in his nobility and his gentleness, has truly brought one of the greatest highlights into my life. Thank you BEN, you are always Top in my heart. BSD Hndbk VolIII p71
