Milsart is credited with founding the 'old Terv line'. In Tervuren history only four dogs can be found which perpetuate this 'old Terv line'. They are the half-brothers and sisters, Unica and Unique and Urvinioul and Urvinior. Through these four, almost every Tervuren can trace its ancestry back to Milsart.
In the 4th generation of Unica, Unique, Urvinioul and Urvinor is the fawn bitch Furia. Both Furia's father, General LOSH 11596 and her mother, Danie LOSH 12930, have Bili LOSH 9548 as a father. Through Bili, the son of Jeck LOSH 8593, Furia becomes the great great great grand-daughter of Milsart.
The degree of inbreeding on Milsart is best exemplified by Jeck LOSH 8593. Like most other fawns registered before 1921, Jeck was extremely inbred on Milsart. BBA pxiii
"Last May, I went to Zurich with one of my best female Tervueren, Yalou du Clos St Jacques, winner female from Belgium 1951, to have puppies from Urvinioul, the most beautiful male Tervueren that I have ever seen in my life - Urvinioul belongs to Mr Barr, the well-known judge for Belgian Sheepdogs in Suisse." The BS by Andrews & Cloutt (Rudy Robinson has been particularly helpful in that he made available his correspondence with Mme Muller)
