In 1981, Fanfare of the Two, another Belgian import, joined the Niavana kennel. He too is a son of Zultan. His dam is Bagheera of the Two, litter sister of Boris and Dundee. Fanfare was a real bonus for those breeders wanting to follow through their breeding programmes and certainly helped to improve coats and fix masks. (Mary Grove) 1995 YB p272

In 1981 Mr & Mrs MacAndie brought a dog from Belgium from the kennels of M Desschans, Fanfare of the Two.
The BS by Andrews & Cloutt

Fanfare of the Two was brought in primarily as a mate for Niavana Dubonnet Vou. This proved a very successful mating, producing the Niavana 'J' litter of which Niavana Jump the Gun and Niavana Jump for Joy went on to become Australian champions.
And Niavana Jolie Madame and Niavana Jaywalker were to introduce Karen and Mike Ellis and Vic and Lynne Salt to the delights of Tervueren ownership.
Fanfare mated several other bitches, mainly Bandol offspring, producing five Champions and he is behind many others. Several breeders have doubled or even tripled up on him in their pedigrees with great success. Although unscored himeslf, he consistently produces low-scoring progeny. Fanfare is the sort of dog which doesn't come along too often but when it does you're glad it came to you. (Jacky MacAndie) 1993 YB p234

MY FUTURE IN THE BREED
Some ten years ago Alan and I went our separate ways. He emigrated to Australia. New homes had to be found for some of our dogs. I will always be grateful to those who leapt in to help.
My special thanks to Karen and Mike Ellis who have given Niavana Dubonnet Vou such a wonderful home.
Fanfare stayed with me and is enjoying his retirement.
