1927 exported from Belgium to France (Chemin des Dames)
"du Chemin des Dames" was one of the most famous kennels who bred for a long time in the last century. The owner Mme Aubry, at the beginning Mlle Dusoulier, began as young girl to breed. She was allowed to buy a lttle dog at a dog exposition. But she saw Champion Brigo-Brigand M'nu Bos and fell in love with the Groenendael and so she ordered in 1924 the male Pitou des Barricades. 1927 she bought her first female Bricole Infernal. 1930 I found the first litter in the Chemin Dames kennel and the last litter was the D-litter 1988.
She became the first bitch of the newly created French Chemin des Dames kennel. BBA p39
Imported from Belgium in 1927. Bricole was bred four times to Pitou, and one time (her last litter) to Harder. BBA p64
Born 1927 she got 25 x excellent and honor prices. Never she was judged worse than excellent in France and Belgium.
(Advertisement from 1928 were it was published that she was mated in October 1928 with Champion Pitou...no record of these puppies)
Bricole has still influence to the breed. 1930 she had a litter with Pitou Barricades-daughter Eydi Chemin Dames was sold to Switzerland there she had a litter in the Swiss kennel "de Ballaigues". This line gave birth to the Tervueren Aria Chalet Aube. Her descants in the TV-kennel "Dreiländerspitz" via Vildor and the B-litter Schneeglöggli you still find Eyda's name in the pedigrees of our dogs.
The next litter Bricole had 1931 also with Pitou was the famous F-litter Chemin Dames-with Friponne and her sister, Fotma II, both were kept by the kennel. In 1937 the kennel was the victim of a serious kennel epidemic, following the use of a defective puppy vaccine. Friponne was saved, but she doubtlessly became a victim of glandular after effects, and wasn't able to reproduce. Her litter being weaned at this moment was lost. Her two final breedings did not take effect. Fotma II took the relay baton in order to perpetuate this line in France.
But before this disaster Friponne was mother of the H-litter Chemin Dames with Hardiesse and Hadji. Hardiesse's line you find at the back of the pedigree of the first Siegestor-dogs.
Hadji was born from the consanguine union of Ch. Pitou Barricades with the best of his daughters Friponne Chemin Dames. He was certified defense dog, and an extremely sharp dog and was sold later to the USA(BBA). Via Krida Chemin Dames Friponne had an enormous influence with her son Cibo Münsterhof in the Swiss and Austrian GR-breeding.
1935 Bricole had a J-litter in the Chemin Dames kennel-this time the father was Harder Clef Champs. Son Jef was sold to Switzerland and was used in the kennels Stella Negra and Nord-See. Sister Jeska had one litter in the Chemin Dames kennel. (Anne Weitz-Heeland)

Although owning Groenendael for several years already, l'Infernal did not really start breeding until 1925 with its first bitch Raquette. After her first litter with Piky de l'Enfer, Raquette had several litters with Djil, a good many of its subjects were exported to France. The BS by Andrews & Cloutt
