Imported from Belgium in February, 1934 as young 7 month old puppy. He was a rather small subject especially in comparison to his kennel companions, who were for the most part larger in size. He carried to the Chemin des Dames lines, a remarkably long, very chiseled very expressive head which was coiffed by minuscule small ears, characteristics that the kennel had always carefully tried to conserve; his coat was remarkably textured and sumptuous; his body was slightly too long for a male.
Shown for the first time at the Paris show in May 1934, in the young dog category, he asserted himself by winning the CACIB over the winner of the CAC from the open class. He officially became Champion of France in 1938, after having obtained many CAC and CACIB's, as well as the Brevet de Chien de defense. BBA p62&64
