Owner's comments: Typifying the standard, Mars is well balanced, square, elegant, strong, agile, well-muscled, full of life, intelligent, courageous, alert, devoted and protective. He was for six years one of the top winning Tervuren in the country and Number one in the country during 1969 and 1970 (Phillips System). He is the only Tervuren to hold Tracking Dog titles in three countries and the only Tervuren to have certificates toward his International Champion of Beaute title (FCI).
In obedience he was twice highest scoring dog in trial (Canada) and he has a total of 17 group placements in three different countries. He is the sire of 20 champion offspring, two of these also holding titles in Canada as well. Mars is at stud to quality, X-rayed bitches.
