Flair's sister, Fidelite de Fauve Charbonne, was sent by the Krohns to Rudy Robinson for sale in the Chicago area. There she found Dorothy Hollister. Dorothy had studied all the breeds extensively before deciding on the Belgian Sheepdog. She bought her first one, a Groenendael, from Rudy about a year before Fidelite arrived. She had seen D'Jimmy and wanted one of his puppies. Dorothy called her Leah and describes her, "Leah was a lady, almost. She was quite, sweet, sensitive, gentle and had a strong streak of the wild in her." "She was beautiful in the manner of the most talented and developed dancers. Standing she was a dog. Moving she was perfection. She was fluid grace, controlled and free at the same time. I never saw her make an awkward move or waste a motion." "I have seen better Tervueren bitches than Leah, but never one that could either move in her class or cast the spell she did. In fact I have never seen any Belgian of any variety that moved in her class." During the time that Dorothy lived with the Hinckleys, Leah was shown with D'Jimmy and both finished championships over black dogs. Leah, in fact, earned her majors over black males. She was the first Tervueren to place in group in the US, a second place in 1960, and she was the first American-bred champion. The BS by Andrews & Cloutt
