At the age of 6, he was exported to Sweden. When he arrived from Belgium he had already gained 21 CCs and 15 CACIBs.

Hassan the Great came to us as a six year old. He had been used frequently in Europe by several breeders. Evelyn and Dany Comeine thought that he had so many offsprings that they gave us the wonderful opportunity to buy him and bring him to the Nordic countries.
Hassan was very good at climbing and jumping so the staff at the quarantine had to put a net as a roof in his box inside so that he couldn't run away. After four long months in quarantine we wondered what we got, a complete ungroomed Laekenois with an enormous coat. He looked like a sheep.
Hassan entered the pack as a born leader and our other Belgians accepted that at once. He soon became our cosy teddy bear who couldn't get enough of cuddle. As an old kennel dog he wasn't used to cuddle and family life. Fortunately we had been videotaping Dany when he practised obedience with Hassan, that way we could learn basic commands so that he would understand us.
Hassan had two litters in Norway and two in Sweden. His blood line remains in a lot of children and grandchildren etc all over the world.
After a hard life Hassan's age put an end to it. A wonderful and charismatic male who we are so happy to have met. We tried to make his last years as comfortable as possible. We love you, our big teddy bear and thank you for everything! (Fannyhills)
