Owner's Comments: Flair began his career at the age of five years to become one of the outstanding stud and show dogs of his era. He was top sire in 1965 and retired undefeated as a champion. With the temperament of a fine bred stallion he produced from three litters a total of eight champions. Although his career was shortlived he established the renowed Chateau Blanc Kennel. We here deeply regret having only known him for such a short time, it was a privilege to be part of his life.

He became the foundation stud for Edeltraud Laurin's Chateau Blanc kennel. Flair was acquired by Edeltraud at the age of five and a half years. She took him out of pity when he needed a home. She and her sister spent hours with him every day to get him back into good condition. They entered him for the first time in a show in April of 1962 when he took third in the open class of four. After that he was defeated only one other time, retiring with a BOB at the annual supported show at the age of eight years.
