Owner's comments: Renee was the first American-Bred to attain her BAR award and first female tracking dog (which she utilized in actual police work).
Her style, brains and beauty have been perpetuated and found in many pedigrees. Her infectious impish nature shall never be forgotten by her privileged owners and all who knew her. She became the start of the du Garde Roux Tervuren in the progeny that followed her.
1973 ABTC Gene VolI p55

Ch Kis-Tam's Renee was the Hawkinson's second BAR winner. She won her first major at the age of eight and a half months, and finished with three majors. She and Kenny were later mated to begin a long line of du Garde Roux champions.
