Champ's son, AKC Ch Teddy Edouard Ours Val du Echo, was the first dog I ever owned. He sired the Best of Breed winner at the ABTC's first Independent National Specialty - AKC Ch Regina's Echo de Bonheur CD BAR. Gina came to us as a stud puppy and was sold to Violette Wilson to become the foundation bitch for the Mont-Cenis kennel.
(Alleyne Dickens, Bonheur) 1999 YB p56

Owner's Comments: Teddy Edouard Ours Val du Echo, a male of type. He carries the double pigmented coat and his outstanding characteristics include a strong scissors bite, outgoing temperament, long neck and good head, perfect tail, short back and excellent shoulder layback. He is pointed and has produced two champion offspring, one of the best known bitches in the US, Champion Regina's Echo de Bonheur CD, Best of Winners, 1970 National Supported show, Akron, from the Puppy Class; Best of Opposite Sex, 1971, Denver, from the Open Class, Best of Opposite Sex, 1972, Reston. Son, Champion Knight-N-Dale's Hi Time Aaryk CD is proving to be a big winner in the Midwest and he has other pointed puppies as well. 1973 ABTC Gene VolI p25
